From June 7 to July 24, significant road closures will be in effect in the Fort York area due to FIFA World Cup 2026™ activities. Visitors traveling from Liberty Village or Fort York should plan for additional travel time. For the latest updates and a full list of affected routes, please visit the City of Toronto's website.
GAME TIME
Doors: Open 60 minutes before kickoff. Arrive early to avoid lineups.
Gates: Gate 1 (north side) provides general access tothe stadium, including elevator access for fans with accessible needs. For the full matchday experience, head to Gate 2 (south side) for direct entry into the Footy Fest — featuring exciting activations, great vibes, food vendors, and more!

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
GO Transit and TTC provide convenient access to York Lions Stadium. GO services will operate on regular weekend schedules, while TTC service impacts are expected to be limited to the Fort York area. Please visit the TTC website for full closure details.
- For most GTA visitors, the easiest way to reach the stadium is via TTC Line 1 to Pioneer Village Station, followed by a short 5-minute walk.
- Visitors traveling from outside the city can take GO Transit to Highway 407 Bus Terminal or Downsview Park Station on the Barrie Line. Both offer free TTC transfers with One Fare — continue on Line 1 to Pioneer Village Station and walk to the stadium.

PARKING
If you are driving, paid parking is available with exclusively digital payment options.
Closest lots include:
- South Lot
- Middle Lot
- North Lot
- Founders Lot #1
- Founders Lot #2
- Thompson Road Lot
All machines on campus will accept debit/credit or the HONK Mobile App. Arrive early to allow time to park and walk.
Daily Parking Prices:
- $1.75/half hour
- $10/day max
- Thompson Rd Lot is a $15/day max
TICKET ACCESS
Access tickets through Ticketmaster Account Manager under My Events and add them to your mobile wallet. Your phone is your ticket — scan at entry using the Ticketmaster App or your wallet.
FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
To help ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience at the stadium, all fans are expected to follow the Fan Code of Conduct. This includes treating staff and fellow supporters with respect, complying with security screenings, and following stadium policies on bags, strollers, and alcohol.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
York Lions Stadium is a smoke-free environment. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the stadium.
The following items are not allowed inside the stadium:
- Bags & Containers
- Backpacks or bags larger than 14" x 14" x 6"
- Metal or glass containers
- Outside food and beverages (empty refillable water bottles permitted)
- Weather & Seating Items
- Umbrellas (please bring raincoats or ponchos)
- Strollers or baby seats in seating areas or entrances
- Noise & Disruption Items
- Noisemakers (e.g., airhorns, whistles, cowbells)
- Drums and large flags/banners*
- Frisbees or inflatable balls
- Aerosols & Materials
- Aerosol cans (e.g., hairspray, silly string)
- Unauthorized pamphlets, flyers, or advertisements
- Mobility & Sports Equipment
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, inline skates, or shoes with wheels
- Bicycle or motorcycle helmets
- Recording Equipment
- Tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks
- Animals
- Pets (excluding service animals)
*Supporters Section Exception
Large flags, banners, and drums may be permitted in designated supporter sections if:
- They are event-related and in good taste
- They are not commercial, political, or offensive
- Flag poles are made of flexible PVC
- All items are pre-approved and arranged with the stadium/host club
BAG POLICY
A restricted bag policy is in effect and fans are strongly encouraged not to bring bags.
Permitted items:
- Clear bags (max 12” x 6” x 12”)
- 1‑gallon clear freezer bags
- Small clutches (max 6.5” x 4.5”)
Non‑compliant bags will not be permitted entry.
