Okoronkwo has played professionally across three continents. She began her pro career with AS Saint-Étienne in France, then joined UDG Tenerife in Spain’s top flight, Liga F, before transferring to Changchun Dazhong in China for the 2024 season. Known for her quickness and clinical finishing, she brings top-flight experience from Europe and Asia into the Northern Super League.
2025 – AFC Toronto
Okoronkwo played a central role in AFC Toronto’s inaugural Northern Super League season, recording 11 goals and a league-leading 8 assists across regular season and playoffs and was named the NSL assist leader. Her attacking creativity and consistency helped power the club to the NSL Regular Season title and Supporters’ Shield, earning her a place on the NSL Team of the Season.
COLLEGE
Okoronkwo played at Lamar University, where she earned Southland Conference Player of the Year and Forward of the Year honours. During her collegiate career, she tallied 30 goals and 13 assists in 52 matches, helping Lamar secure both regular season and tournament titles.
INTERNATIONAL
Okoronkwo made her senior debut for the Nigeria Women’s National Team in 2021 and scored the game-winning goal in a 1–0 victory over Ivory Coast, securing Nigeria’s place at the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations. She represented Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, appearing in matches against Canada and Australia, and was later named to the 2024 Olympic team that competed in Paris.
