Toronto enters Sunday’s matchup following a 2-1 victory over Ottawa Rapid FC at BMO Field last weekend. Kaylee Hunter and Sarah Stratigakis scored in the win, which moved AFC Toronto to within three points of first place.
Calgary enters Sunday’s match on a five-game unbeaten streak. Despite Toronto’s results against Wild FC this season, head coach Marko Milanović emphasized that the team is expecting a competitive matchup against Calgary that has gained confidence through its recent results.
