TORONTO, ON (July 7, 2026) — Today, the Northern Super League announced that APEX, a global investment firm focused on sports, media and entertainment, has become a strategic investor in Canada's first professional women's soccer league, marking another important moment in its continued growth.

"We launched AFC Toronto and the Northern Super League to create opportunities for women and girls in sport on and off the pitch – and we are committed to building a sustainable future for professional women's football in Canada.
