AFC Toronto heads east to take on Halifax Tides FC in their final road game of the season. Toronto (9-6-5, 33 points) currently sits second in the Northern Super League table, five points back of first place. 

Saturday marks the fourth meeting between the two sides, with Toronto holding a 2-1-0 record against Halifax. The previous three matches have been close contests, but Toronto has the edge, earning a shutout in each game.  

Toronto enters Saturday's match following a hard-fought game against Montreal last week that saw the team battle back from a two-goal deficit to secure a crucial point. Lauren Rowe and Nikki Small scored in the final 10 minutes for Toronto to earn a 2-2 draw 

Meanwhile, Halifax enters Saturday’s match following a 1-0 loss to Calgary Wild FC last weekend. Halifax sits fifth in the league table, two points behind Vancouver Rise FC, who currently hold the fourth and final playoff spot.

Halifax enters Saturday’s match with 24 points from 20 matches, holding an even goal differential with 20 goals scored and 20 conceded. 

Toronto has two wins and one draw against the Tides. The club has yet to concede a goal to Halifax this year.

Final road game of the season  
Saturday marks Toronto’s final road game of the season, as the team enters the final stretch of the regular season. AFC Toronto boasts a 7-3-1 road record, earning 24 points away from home this season. 

Goal watch  
Toronto has found the back of the net 32 times this season, while conceding just 20 goals through 20 matches. Toronto and Halifax are tied with the fewest goals conceded this season, making Saturday’s match a battle between the league’s top defensive units. 

Facing a hungry Halifax squad  
With Halifax sitting just outside the playoff picture, Toronto will face a side fighting to keep its postseason hopes alive.

Four-game home stretch  
After Saturday, Toronto will return home for its final four games of the regular season, with two matches at York Lions Stadium, followed by two at BMO Field.
