Celebrating the Women Behind AFC Toronto

Leadership doesn't happen in just one place.

It's on the pitch. It's on the sidelines. It's in the treatment room, the boardroom and behind the scenes, where countless women are helping shape the future of professional soccer every day.

In celebration of She Leads the Game, presented by Totum Life Sciences, AFC Toronto is proud to spotlight the women whose passion, expertise and leadership continue to drive our club forward. Throughout this series, we'll introduce supporters to the people making an impact across our technical staff, front office and partner community, sharing the stories, experiences and perspectives that inspire the next generation of women in sport.

Because while matchday lasts 90 minutes, leadership happens every day.

About the Series
This content series will roll out over the coming days, each article will highlight a different group of women shaping AFC Toronto and the broader women’s game:

Technical Staff 
Kicking off the series, we spotlight the women working closest to the team day-to-day. From coaching and performance to player development, this feature explores the leadership behind the scenes that prepares AFC Toronto to compete at the highest level.

Front Office
This feature highlights the women building the club off the pitch. From operations and marketing to partnerships and fan engagement, these leaders are shaping the growth, identity and future of AFC Toronto.

Partner Spotlight
Closing the series, we turn to our partners who are helping grow the game beyond the club. This feature will spotlight Totum Life Sciences and Dr. Stacy Irvine, exploring how collaboration and investment are creating more opportunities for women in sport.

Together, these stories reflect a simple truth: leadership in football is everywhere – and it’s time it is seen.
