TORONTO, ON (September 5, 2026) – AFC Toronto has signed defender Jasmine Vilgrain for the  remainder of the 2026 Northern Super League season.

The Toronto native joins AFC Toronto following a professional career in France, where she played with Olympique Lyonnais, Rodez AF and Stade de Reims. She returns to Canada with experience across the French football system and international experience with both Haiti and Canada.

Vilgrain began playing football at the age of four and developed through the Toronto soccer system with North Toronto Soccer, before moving on to Canada Soccer’s Regional Excel (REX) program. She went on to play collegiately at Southern Methodist University before making the move overseas.

“Jasmine is someone our staff knows very well. She worked extensively with Marko during her youth career and has been training with us over the past month, so we’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand how well she fits into our environment.  said Billy Wilson, Sporting Director.  She’s integrated seamlessly into the group, and we’re delighted that she has decided to come home to Toronto after spending the past several years playing overseas. We’re excited to have her with us and believe she’ll be a great addition to the team.”
