TORONTO, ON (September 4, 2026) – AFC Toronto plays its third consecutive match at BMO Field on Sunday, September 6, hosting Calgary Wild FC in a Back to Class celebration presented by Canadian Tire. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. ET, with fans invited to enjoy an afternoon of soccer, entertainment and matchday activations ahead of the start of the new school year.

Canadian Tire Brings Back to Class to BMO Field
Canadian Tire will bring its Back to Class campaign to life throughout the matchday experience, with fans receiving a special giveaway, a mini bag and notebook, as they enter BMO Field, while Canadian Tire Jumpstart will be part of the pre-match proceedings with the ceremonial match ball delivery.

At halftime, Canadian Tire will take to the pitch for an interactive Back to Class-themed trivia game, giving supporters another opportunity to get involved in the matchday experience.

More Matchday Moments
Fans can expect plenty of entertainment throughout the afternoon, including a performance of the national anthem by emerging vocalist Nya Bello, who returns to BMO Field after performing the anthem at last week’s match. The afternoon will also feature a halftime performance by The Core and the return of Toronto-based host and on-air personality Alicia “Ace” West as AFC Toronto’s matchday host.

Supporters can also explore a range of activations throughout BMO Field. The Desjardins Skills Challenge and photobooth will be available on the North Concourse, giving supporters the chance to test their skills and capture a photo from the afternoon. As well, Desjardins will bring a marching band to BMO Field ahead of kickoff, while its Dance Cam will take over the stadium during halftime. 

Make a Day of It at BMO Field
AFC Toronto’s September 6 match falls during the 2026 Canadian National Exhibition, which runs August 21 to September 7 at Exhibition Place, just outside BMO Field.

Fans attending the match can make a full day of it, with complimentary CNE admission included with their AFC Toronto ticket. Supporters can enjoy the sights, sounds and attractions of the Ex before or after cheering on AFC Toronto as the club takes on Calgary Wild FC.
