TORONTO, ON (September 17, 2026) – The Northern Super League (NSL) proudly celebrates AFC Toronto forward Kaylee Hunter after her spectacular hat trick powered Canada’s U-20 Women’s National Team to a 3-1 victory over France in the Round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The 18-year-old scored in the 28th, 33rd and 70th minutes to send Canada into the Quarter-Finals and deliver a standout performance on the world stage. Hunter was complemented by her AFC Toronto teammate Olivia Chisholm, who put in a relentless performance midfield throughout the match. For the NSL, it is another defining moment for players who have emerged among Canadian soccer’s brightest young talents.

Hunter made her professional debut with AFC Toronto at just 17 during the NSL’s inaugural 2025 season, scoring 16 goals and adding four assists en route to NSL Rookie of the Year honours and a place on the NSL Team of the Season.

Hunter and Chisholm will rejoin AFC Toronto following their international duties as the club continues its 2026 NSL campaign.
