Toronto, ON (July 17, 2026) – AFC Toronto announced today that the club and Sofia Manner have mutually agreed to terminate her contract, allowing her to pursue a professional opportunity in Europe.

Manner joined AFC Toronto ahead of the club's inaugural season and made 17 appearances starting each match. 

"I want to thank Sofia for the 18 months she has spent with AFC Toronto and for everything she has contributed to the club during that time," said Billy Wilson, AFC Toronto Technical Director. "We wish her nothing but the very best as she embarks on the next chapter of her career."
