You can list all the perks that are included in a membership. But the best way to truly understand the experience is to hear from the people who are already part of it.
For AFC Toronto's season ticket members, being part of the Collective is about more than watching 90 minutes of football. It's about the people they meet, the memories they make together, and the feeling of knowing they’re a part of what we’re building here in Toronto.
For some, it's about supporting the growth of women's professional soccer. For others, it's about finding a community. And for many, it's simply about being there for the moments they don't want to miss.
We asked our members what AFC Toronto means to them, why they are coming back, and what they would say to someone considering joining for 2027.
The answer was clear: You come for the football. You find your community.
A Place to Belong
For many members, AFC Toronto represents something bigger than a team. It represents community.
Seema, who has been a member since the beginning, says the people she's met through AFC Toronto have become one of the most meaningful parts of the experience. "You go for the soccer, but you leave with community and the people you've met along the way." She mentioned how she has connected with other supporters through group chats and gatherings after matches, turning a shared love of the club into friendships and a wider sense of belonging.
For David, being part of the Collective means experiencing the highs and lows alongside the team. "For me, it's part of being with the team, feeling the wins and the losses along with the players."
And for Omar, who has been there since the club was announced, The Collective represents Toronto itself. He describes AFC Toronto as a place where people from across the city and from all backgrounds come together around a common cause, creating a feeling of being at home.
It's not just a seat. It's a place to find your people.
Supporting Something Bigger
For many fans, becoming a season ticket member was also a choice to take an active role in supporting the growth of women's professional soccer.
Sharine describes AFC Toronto as "inspiring" because it gives young girls in Canada a clearer pathway to see themselves playing professional soccer without having to leave the country.
For Sandy, that pathway is personal. She became a member so her daughter could experience professional women's soccer and see athletes on the field who could represent a future she could imagine for herself.
"AFC Toronto means to me a pathway... an opportunity for girls to see themselves in the women that are on the field," said Sandy.
Erin shares that perspective. She became a season ticket member because she wanted to support professional women's sports and be part of a moment when access to women's sport is becoming a normal part of everyday life for the next generation.
For her, that's what makes watching AFC Toronto so exciting: the young girls in the stands today may grow up never questioning whether women's sport belongs in their world.
The Moments You Remember
Of course, there's also the football.
Every member has their own favourite on-pitch memories, from historic wins to unforgettable matchdays.
For Sandy, one of the most memorable moments was being in the stands for AFC Toronto's first-ever kickoff, surrounded by the excitement of finally having a professional women's team in Toronto.
David's favourite part of matchday is the anticipation before it all unfolds, while one of his most memorable moments came with the celebrations around winning the Supporters' Shield in 2025.
These are the moments that become part of being a season ticket member. Not just watching them happen, but being a part of them when they do.
Thinking About Joining?

"Go for it. Like I said before, you go for the soccer, but you leave with community." - Seema
