After graduating from the University of Oregon, Soto made her professional debut in 2023 with Kansas City Current, where she made 12 appearances including 8 starts. In 2024, she signed with the Houston Dash and continued to develop as a reliable presence in the NWSL. Known for her timing in tackles and leadership on the back line, she brings grit, maturity, and big-league experience to AFC Toronto’s defense.
COLLEGE
Soto played four standout years at the University of Oregon. She earned All-Pac-12 honors multiple times and was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region Third Team and CoSIDA Academic All-District. In 2021, she started and played every minute of Oregon’s school-record nine shutouts.
YOUTH
A product of the competitive Southern California youth soccer scene, Soto played for club teams that won multiple Surf Cups and Premier League titles. She was named team MVP in high school and led her team in scoring in 2016 before emerging as a dominant center back.
