Announced by AFC Toronto in June 2025, Stratigakis returned to her hometown after competing professionally in Sweden, England, and France, joining the club during the Northern Super League’s inaugural season.

Stratigakis is a Canadian international midfielder who has built her professional career across several European leagues. She spent three seasons in Sweden with Vittsjö GIK, later competing in England with Bristol City W.F.C., before moving to France with AS Saint-Étienne. Known for her creativity and ability to link play in midfield, she returned to Canada in 2025 to join AFC Toronto and bring international experience to the club’s inaugural campaign.

INTERNATIONAL
Stratigakis has represented Canada at every level of the national team program and made her senior debut at 17 years old, earning five senior caps and scoring the game-winning goal at the 2021 SheBelieves Cup. At youth level, she competed in multiple FIFA tournaments, and captured three Concacaf youth medals. A standout from an early age, she was named Tournament MVP at the 2014 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship and was selected to the Best XI in both the 2014 U-15 and 2015 U-20 tournaments.
COLLEGE
Stratigakis played NCAA Division I soccer at the University of Michigan for four and a half seasons, where she studied Sport Management and Marketing. A consistent starter and attacking leader for the Wolverines, she developed into one of the Big Ten’s top midfielders, earning Big Ten Midfielder of the Year honours, First Team All-American recognition, and helping Michigan capture a Big Ten Championship.
YOUTH
Stratigakis developed in the Toronto soccer system, playing youth football with Woodbridge Strikers and Unionville Milliken SC before progressing into the Canadian youth national team program.
OFF THE FIELD
Born and raised in Toronto, Stratigakis returned home to represent her city in the Northern Super League. Off the field, Stratigakis is a passionate advocate for youth sport, serving as a Greek-Canadian Games Ambassador and leading grassroots soccer development programs for girls in both Sweden and Canada.
